Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal soft rays: 7-7. Distinguished from its congeners in having the following characters: 79-81 lateral line scales; 7 gill rakers; caudal peduncle depth 1.83 times in its length; caudal-fin rays i.14-15.i; and pelvic-fin rays i.16-17.i (Ref. 93752).
