| Biology: | Found in eelgrass beds and in drifting algae, and off rocky shores (Ref. 2850). Some specimens have been captured by dipnet under a light at night (Ref. 2850). Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205). Minimum depth from Ref. 58018. | |||
