Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 0 - 3 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Grand Cayman, Belize, Honduras, and San AndrĂ©s Island, Colombia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-10; Anal soft rays: 6-9; Vertebrae: 30-33
Biology:  Collected from rocky shallow surge zones (Ref. 50106).
