Max. size:  8 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 3 - 10 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: Endemic to Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults occur inshore near reefs (Ref. 7300). Eggs are guarded by the male parent (Ref. 205).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 22 April 2022 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
