Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Restricted to the middle Mungo drainage system, western Cameroon.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in wells, brooks, swamps and pools in the rainforest and secondary savanna (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is easy to maintain in the aquarium (Ref. 27139).

Country info:  Restricted to the middle Mungo drainage system, western Cameroon (Ref. 3788). Two subspecies considered in Huber 1996 (Ref. 27139). Badouma, Eboni (Ref. 31267). Also occurs in the coastal rivers of the West (Ref. 51193).
