Environment:  demersal; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 8; dH range: 5 - 12
Distribution:  Asia: Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Nepal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits creeks with rocky and gravel bottoms (Ref. 12045). Oviparous (Ref. 205).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 01 March 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Known from Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Azad Kashmir (Ref. 57738). Recorded from Indus river system (Ref. 4832). Common in Punjab and Sindh, and rare in Balochistan (Ref. 57738). Also Ref. 51161, 52665, 12076.
