Environment:  bathydemersal; freshwater; depth range 120 - 1600 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Asia: Endemic to Lake Baikal, Russia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum length 13,2 TL (Ref. 42042). Eggs very large, up to 4.25 mm. About 20 eggs in each ovary.
