Remark: Often referred to as "bullhead" although not a catfish. Considered a nuisance to anglers because it is commonly caught and has no food or sport value. Becomes very abundant in shallow water during the spring and summer. Takes almost any bait offered. After some experimentation, large specimens (20cm <) are good for crab bait.
