| Quote | The species Scatharus graecus [Fam. Sparidae] from South Greece (French Exp. Moree) was described by Valenciennes (1830). It was never found again and the type is now lost (Hureau & Monod, 1973). Scatharus graecus probably is a synonym of Spondyliosoma cantharus. |
