Found in a small lake in the catchment of the Lake Prolozac in Imotsko polje, which is not connected by surface waters with any other body water. Water is extracted in large quantities for irrigation in the Imotsko polje (Ref. 75104). Reported from Matica R., Prolosko blato and Bacinska Lakes (Ref. 123403).
Status of threat: critically endangered (Ref. 59043).
