More than 99% are recruits from North America or Europe (Ref. 9926). Occurs in the waters around South Greenland from Umanak (Uummannaq) to Angmagssalik (Ammassalik). A small stock spawns in the river Kapisigdlit (Kapisillit) (Ref. 9925). Also Ref. 59043. Main foraging areas along west coast of southern Greenland
