Comments: Native but locally introduced to northeastern Italy (Ref. 116794) which it has established (Ref. 45688, 94493). Rarely found in natural waters (Ref. 6375). Naturalized in 1985. Interferes with native cyprinids (Ref. 94493). Invasive in north and central Italy (Ref. 119201). Also Ref. 1739, 27118, 124661.
