Annual stocking recorded. Known from the Italian peninsula and islands (Ref. 45688, 94493), and recorded from Ombrone, Albegna and Fiora (Ref. 45688). Invasive in north, central, and southern Italy (Ref. 119201). Indirectly interferes with native species by altering the habitat (Ref. 94493).
