Rückenflossenstacheln (insgesamt): 0; Afterflossenstacheln 0; Afterflossenweichstrahlen: 70 - 81. Lower jaw longer than upper jaw; barbel shorter than eye diameter. Back gray-brown, grading to white ventrally. Posterior portions of vertical fins dark with pale margins.
