Comments: Also Ref. 244, 87400. Previously thought to only occur in Gulf of Oman but new specimens were collected in the Gulf of Masira to Ras al Hadd. Frequently sold at markets but statistics unavailable. Caught using floating and bottom gillnets, and pelagic and bottom longlines. Consumed as food (Ref. 9773).
