Comments: Recorded from Lakes Bulera and Luhondo. May have been the reason for the decimation or extinction of three autochthonous cyprinid species (Barbus microbarbis, B. neumayeri and Varicorhinus ruandae) in Lake Luhondo (Ref. 35818). Also recorded from Lake Kivu, Rusizi basin, upper and middle Akagera and Lake Mohasi (Ref. 46152).
