Comments: Occurs in the Suriname and the Nickerie rivers. Also found in Marowijne (= Gran) Creek with sandy bottom, running water, at depth of 1.5 m (Ref. 27925). Type locality, about 27 km south of Village Dam, Sara Creek, Brokopondo district. (Ref. 12965). Also Ref. 12225, 36801.
