First records from Syria:, 3 juvenile females- 29.86 cm TL (102.3 g)); 30.63 cm TL (110.4 g); 31.41 cm TL (106.6 g), which were reported in 2017 (Ref. 120558). Second reported occurrence was that of a mature female (35.4 cm TL; 208.3 g) caught at about 300 m in the Syrian coast (Ref. 120557).
