Holotype reported from Diélé, Ogooué basin (Ref. 3818, 58032, 78218); this is erroneous as Diélé is located in Congo-Brazzaville, in the Alima drainage (a middle Congo River tributary); see also Pellegrin 1900 = Ref. 46905 who puts Diélé correctly in the Alima drainage although referring to the type specimens; note also that the original species description does not explicitely puts Diélé in the Ogooué basin and that this species was not included in Ref. 81646 (T. Musschoot, pers. comm.).
