Known from the Mekong basin (Ref. 43281). Occurs in the lower, middle and upper Xe Bangfai, and the lower and middle Nam Theun basins (Ref. 27732). Found in Ban Hang Khone at Don Khone, 3 km below the fall line of the great waterfalls of the Mekong basin at Lee Pee (Ref. 9497). Enters flooded forest on Don Khone, just below the great waterfalls (Ref. 9497). Museum: Mekong at Ban Hang Khone, just below Khone falls, CAS 94889 (Ref. 5515).
