Symptoms:	Light coating, very small light spots on skin and fins resembling White spot Disease.
Treatments:	Methylene blue and siphon the dirt from the tank. Keep tank dark. Another treatment is the use of Copper Sulphate (Dose: Stock-solution: 4 gm/1 liter, 20 ml/100 l or 4 drops/liter), but must be used with extreme caution (danger of poisoning the fish). In addition, the used of anti-bacterial drug to control possible secondary bacterial infection is necessary. Ref. 41805.
Prophylaxis:
Remarks:	Velvet disease is also associated with Oodinium sp.. This parasite can sometimes occur in freshwater fishes, although it is known better as a disease of marine fishes (Amyloodinium pillulare). Ref. 41805.
