Comments: Continuous importation had been done (Ref. 1739). Known from the Jordan basin and Kinneret. In 1997, a single fish farm in the Upper Galilee began commercially producing eels. However, no increase of eels in the natural environment has been noted (Ref. 37616). Restricted in distribution but with significant negative impact (Ref. 52511).     Ref:
