Peritoneum light colored. Caudal rays 10. Rad. Pect. 3, rounded, without notches. No pleural ribs. Hypural plate one, with fissure. Gill opening above pectoral fin base. Suprabranchial pores 2. Symphyseal mandibular pores close together, opening into a common pore. Pyloric caeca absent. Head 29.1% SL; anteanal distance 38.8% SL (Ref. 41400).
