Diagnosis

Deep bodied Nothobranchius (Ref. 53530). The snout is rounded (Ref. 53530). The mouth is terminal, directed upward (Ref. 53530). Ctenii are absent on the rays of the dorsal and anal fins (Ref. 53530). Number of scales on the median longitudinal line is 26-30 and 2-4 on caudal fin base (Ref. 53530). Most scales have a shallow pit in the centre, not connected with an underlying neuromast system (Ref. 53530); there are no ctenii on the body scales (Ref. 53530).
