Diagnosis

This species is diagnosed by the following characters: D III,25; A III,14-15; lateral line scales 34-36; caudal fin is rhomboid to trifurcate; no small dark spot on the upper part of pectoral fin (Ref. 56434).

Description: Characterized by male with white color with broad, orange midlateral stripe extending to middle of caudal rays, 3 rows of dark spots within stripe and dusky greyish on upper back with dark scales edges; female similar but with brown midlateral band; anterior lateral line scales 25-27; predorsal scales 21; depth of body 27.6-28.2 % of SL (Ref. 90102).
