This species differs from its congeners by the following characters: longer predorsal distance, 34.0-36.0 % SL; no pseudobranchial filaments; 1 opercular spine; absence of interorbital and occipital head pores; 71-79 dorsal-fin rays; 58-62 anal-fin rays; 23 pectoral-fin rays; 11-12 precaudal and 50-51 total vertebrae (Ref. 83559). |
