Etymology: Discotrema: Greek, diskos = disc shape + Greek, trema = hole (Ref. 45335); monogrammum: Name from Greek 'mono' meaning one and 'gramme' for line, referring to its diagnostic color character of one continuous pale yellow to white stripe.

Found on crinoids as commensal (Ref. 90102).
