Females: body brown with round blue spot on each scale; head yellow to brownish yellow with dark-edged blue bands (Ref. 4392). Males: body and caudal fin brownish yellow with dark-edged blue spots; head dull orange-yellow with dark edged blue bands (Ref. 4392).
