process is long and somewhat narrow, widest point at proximal half; posterior part of maxilla almost straight, not slanting down, with angular upper posterior corner; palatine teeth absent; anus located slightly anterior to pelvic-fin tip (including holotype) or just at the tip; head length 27-29% SL; upper jaw length 9.3-11% SL; eye diameter 10-11% SL; postorbital length of head 10-12% SL; distance from snout to pectoral-fin tip 44-47% SL; anterior midlateral band covered by pectoral fin when curved downward (Ref. 92295).
Collected by beach seine in seagrass areas and on mud bottoms (Ref. 92295).
