Ecology
Marine; freshwater; brackish; reef-associated. Subtropical
Western Atlantic: southern Florida (USA), Bahamas, and Yucatan, Mexico to Brazil. Southeast Pacific: known only from Tumaco, Colombia (Ref. 9273).
