Asia: Annam in Viet Nam, South-East Thailand, South-West Cambodia and Mae Khlong basin in Thailand (Ref. 26580). Possibly occurs in the Mekong but has not yet been recorded there (Ref. 12693).

Max length : 35.0 cm SL male/unsexed; (Ref. 12693)
Has 4 horizontal scale rows between lateral line and mid-dorsal scale row at dorsal-fin origin; 7-8 gill rakers on first arch (Ref. 12693).
Found in medium to large upland rivers and probably migrates into smaller streams during rainy season (Ref. 12693).
