Africa: Lower Guinea endemic, known from the Kouilou River basin in the Republic of Congo (Ref. 80290) and the Ogowe River basin in Gabon (Ref. 5331).

गुदा कांटा: 0; ऐनल सौफट रेज़: 18 - 21. Diagnosis: 5.5 scales between lateral line and dorsal fin origin; 16-18 anal fin branched rays; flanks with dark pigment blotch on ventral two thirds of caudal peduncle; humeral spot absent (Ref. 80290).
