Diagnosis: mouth subterminal; barbels absent; lateral line incomplete; 20-22 scales in lateral line with 3-4 perforated scales; 10-12 circumpeduncular scales; black stripe (as broad as eye) from eye to origin of caudal peduncle; anterior margin of dorsal fin black (Ref. 81639).
Maximum TL was recorded at 3.3 cm (Ref. 2801).
