Espinas dorsales (total) : 4; Radios blandos dorsales (total) : 8 - 10; Espinas anales: 1; Radios blandos anales: 7 - 8. Body more elongated, flattened on dorsal surface. Head almost flat, groove absent. Body and head uniform, light yellowish with minute dark speckles (Ref. 33724).
Body shape (shape guide): elongated.
An almost mature female measuring about 4.0 cm length was caught on July 8, 1915. It had 60 eggs on both ovaries, each egg was 2 mm in diameter (Ref. 2058).
