Pelvic fins united into moderate-sized double sucking-disc, posterior half with fleshy margin (Ref. 9002). Color variable, usually plain greenish to dusky brown, often with numerous small dark spots (Ref. 9002).
Occurs in shallow coastal reefs, usually in ledges with sea urchins (Ref. 9002).
