Max length : 34.0 cm TL mâle / non sexé; (Ref. 2801)

Inhabits lake, but some migrate to rivers to breed (Ref. 4967). Also caught using dip nets. Found in shallow water over sandy bottoms. Feeds on usipa, Engraulicypris sardella (Ref. 5595).
