marin bathydémersal; profondeur 100 - 700 m (Ref. 3590). Deep-water; 21°N -
Eastern Atlantic: 21°N (Cap Blanc) to 7°S. Reported from Namibia. Differs from the western Atlantic Parasudis truculentus very slightly which suggest possible conspecificity (Mead 1966).
