Épines dorsales (Total) : 20; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total) : 13; Épines anales: 2; Rayons mous anaux: 12. Body and head metallic silver; darker dorsally. Pupil silvery with an elongated, dusky blotch above and below the iris. A dark blotch, equal in size to orbit length on the operculum.
