Environment: milieu / climate zone / depth range / distribution range
Ecology
Marine; reef-associated; non-migratory; depth range 3 - 33 m (Ref. 7247). Tropical; 21°N - 13°N
Western Central Pacific: endemic to the Mariana Islands.
Size / Weight / Age
Maturity: Lm ?  range ? - ? cm
Max length : 4.5 cm SL male/unsexed; (Ref. 7247)
Adults occur in exposed seaward reefs, on relatively barren gently sloping terraces with scattered low-profile corals. Feed on zooplankton found 1 to 2 meters above the substrate (Ref. 7247). Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate (Ref. 205). Males guard and aerate the eggs (Ref. 205). Diurnal species (Ref. 52881).
