Taggstrålar i ryggfenan (totalt) : 0; Mjukstrålar i ryggfenan (totalt) : 64; Taggstrålar i analfenan: 0; Mjukstrålar i analfenan: 56; Ryggkotor: 70. Caudal-fin rays 9; pectoral fin notch distinct, moderately deep; pectoral girdle with 3 round radials; chin pore single, unpaired; gill opening small, entirely above pectoral base, reaching ventrally to level of eye centre; HL 19.7% SL, about equal to its depth; preanal long, 40%; body deep, 132% HL; color solid black; orobranchial cavity and peritoneum black, tongue densely dotted (Ref. 42734).
