Short description Morphology | Morphometrics

Dorsal spines (total): 1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 4; Anal soft rays: 11 - 12; Vertebrae: 45 - 46. Distinguished from other members of the genus by having a truncate caudal fin and a very low adipose fin with an indistinct posterior margin (length of adipose fin base 29.5-38.5% SL; dorsal to adipose distance 25.0-32.8% SL) (Ref. 37785).
