Μαλακές ραχιαίες ακτίνες (συνολικά) : 21 - 23; Μαλακές εδρικές ακτίνες: 35 - 37. Body elongate and slender. Snout protrusible. Long chin barbel, slender, terminal bulb preceded by long simple filament. Barbel stem has little or no pigment. Black in color (Ref. 37039).

Feeds on midwater fishes (Ref. 37039).
