Espinas dorsales (total) : 0; Espinas anales: 0; Radios blandos anales: 80. Body tapering, belly rounded before pelvic fins, with 4 or 5 + 7 or 8 = 11 to 13 keeled scutes from just behind pectoral fin base to anus. Maxilla short, not reaching to edge of gill cover. Pectoral fin with 13 or 14 long filaments and 5 to 7 branched fin rays, much shorter than those of pelvic fin. Anal fin long, the last fin ray joined to the caudal fin, which is small and pointed.

Biología     Glosario (por ej. epibenthic)

Evidently a riverine species, or at least estuarine, but perhaps also in the sea. More data needed. Uncertainty over identifications makes previous literature unreliable.
