The drop-off at the type locality starts at 8 m, the substratum leading to this consists of coral rubble, a typical habitat for species of Cirrhilabrus . Apparently, the two small angelfishes sought by the collectors at this area are Centropyge bicolor and Paracentropyge multifaciata (Ref. 82647). Also found in crevices and overhangs on steep outer reef slopes (Ref 90102).
