Short description
Identification keys | Morphology | Morphometrics
Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6 - 7; Anal soft rays: 4 - 5; Vertebrae: 33 - 37. Belongs to the Oreoglanis delacouri species group as it lacks a distinct median notch on the posterior margin of the lower lip. Can be distinguished from other members of the genus in having the following combination of characters: maxillary barbel with rounded tip, dentary tooth patches separated by approximately one-third to half their width, pectoral fin reaching beyond pelvic-fin origin, body depth at anus 10.0-12.6 % SL, adipose fin confluent with upper procurrent caudal-fin rays, caudal peduncle length 15.1-21.2 % SL, caudal peduncle depth 5.0-6.9 % SL, caudal peduncle depth 2.51-3.80 times in its length and lunate caudal fin with upper and lower first principal ray of approximately the same length (Ref. 83406).
Occurs in rocky, fast-flowing streams (Ref. 83406).
