Ovophilic, paternal mouthbrooder (Ref. 12468, 52307). Both parents can take care of the young after hatching (Ref. 12468), but pair-bonding seems relatively weak (Ref. 52307). Maximum TL recorded is 8.65 cm (Ref. 5657).
