Maxillary teeth two or three; third or fourth tooth of outer premaxillary series inserted posteriorly to the rest; large eye 41-45% HL; first anal fin ray inserted anterior to last dorsal fin ray; anal fin rays iv-vi, 25-29; and perforated scales in lateral line series 37-39 (Ref. 52391).
Inhabits streams with sandy-rocky bottom, riffles, small falls and pools (Ref. 52391).
