الأشواك الظهرية (المجموع) : 31 - 42; الأشعة الظهرية الناعمة (المجموع) : 5 - 10; شوكة شرجية: 2; أشعه شرجية لينه: 21 - 30. Color ranges from uniform green black with 6 golden dots along centre of body to mottled with 6 bars along body (Ref. 5496). Robust, with a sharply pointed or sub obtuse head (Ref. 94108).
Inhabits intertidal and subtidal areas (Ref. 5496).
