Mouth subterminal; dorsal profile of body smoothly convex and almost straight ventrally; greatest body depth 11-13% in length to end of anal fin (LEA) and 13-15% of anal fin base; head length 13-17% in LEA and 15-21% of anal fin base; anal fin origin at level of gill opening; anal rays 197-215.
