背鰭 (合計) : 13 - 14; 臀鰭: 9. Lateral line with 32 to 38 scales, usually 14 to 16 scales around the least circumference of the caudal peduncle; last unbranched ray of dorsal fin markedly longer than head; mouth narrow, lower lip spatulate and median lobe present; and two pairs of barbels (Ref. 94477).
